MEET OUR ADOPTION COORDINATOR

Katie Kuzma has called Chattanooga, TN, home for most of her life and has been passionate about animal rescue since she was just six years old—when she saved her very first animal. That lifelong compassion led her to become the Adoption Coordinator for Your Local Fur Mama, where she works to ensure every kitten and puppy finds their perfect forever home.

When she's not busy with rescue work, Katie is an E-Referral Specialist at Amedisys Home Health while also balancing life as a stay-at-home mom. She currently lives in Ringgold, GA, with her husband Zachary (lovingly known as Biscuit) and their three amazing kids, Ryleigh, Raven, and Rhett.

The Kuzma household is never short on love—or fur! Their pet crew includes Chloe, an 8-year-old Golden Chi; Cash, a 5-year-old Pabsky; Stella, a 3-year-old GSD; Minnie Moo Min, a 2-year-old tuxedo DSH; Fasa, an almost 1-year-old orange DMH tabby; and the long-reigning Great White, a 10-year-old goldfish.
