MEET OUR ASSISTANT FOSTER COORDINATOR

Ashley Kelly grew up in Riverside, California, and has dedicated the past year and a half to animal rescue work. She currently serves as the Assistant Foster Coordinator for Your Local Fur Mama, where she’s been an essential part of the team for the past six months, helping support fosters and ensuring every kitten and puppy receives the care they need to thrive.

By profession, Ashley is an ER Veterinary Assistant, specializing in caring for patients during their ICU hospital stays. Not only that, but she is currently in school studying to become a veterinarian. Her passion for critical care and neonatal rescue has made her a perfect fit for YLFM’s mission.

Ashley now calls Chattanooga, TN, home, where she shares her life with her beloved cat, “Kittens,” who showed up on her doorstep four years ago and never left—clearly deciding she’d found her forever home. Outside of rescue and work, Ashley’s free time is often spent practicing piano (when schoolwork doesn’t take over, which feels like a hobby in itself these days!).
