MEET OUR DIRECTOR OF VETERINARY SERVICES

Ally Barker grew up in Cookeville, TN, where her love for animals was evident from a young age. That passion led her into the world of animal rescue and veterinary medicine, where she's been making a difference for the past eight years.

Currently serving as the Director of Veterinary Services for Your Local Fur Mama, Ally has been a key part of the team for the past year, using her extensive experience to ensure that every kitten and puppy receives top-notch care. When she's not working with YLFM, Ally is a dedicated Veterinary Technician at Middle Valley Animal Hospital in Hixson, TN, where she now resides.

Ally's home is shared with her beloved fur family: Toast, a 6-year-old Husky mix; Astrid, a 4-year-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix; and her squad of feline royalty—Ted, a 10-year-old DSH; Mike, a 7-year-old DSH; Rhonda Lou, a 3-year-old DSH; and Becky Sue, a 2-year-old DSH.
