MEET ONE OF OUR ADMIN ASSISTANTS

Aimee Leatherman is originally from Grand Rapids, MI, and now calls Chattanooga, TN, home. With a passion for supporting others and a strong work ethic, Aimee is currently the Customer Success Director at Fortress PropTech. She’s also been a part of Your Local Fur Mama for about three months, where she serves as the Admin Assistant—although her journey with the rescue feels like it just began yesterday!

In addition to her work with YLFM, Aimee runs her own small booth, Leatherman’s Market, inside the Chattanooga Mercantile. There, she sells a wide range of items, from vintage jewelry and accessories to clothing, beauty products, and furniture—basically, if you’re looking for something unique, Aimee has it!

At home, Aimee shares her life with her beloved boxer, Roxie, and her significant other, Kevin. Though Aimee doesn’t have human kids just yet, her fur baby is definitely a part of the family.

In her spare time, Aimee enjoys curating her booth and exploring her love for all things vintage and unique, which keeps her pretty busy!
